Life certainly is short. So sorry for your loss. He is at peace now and will no longer feel the pain. Your pain will subside and turn to memories of your friend, loved one. Remember everyday to say how you feel to you family and friends. May God Bless Him and his family as well as his friends.                                Roger.

Jesse, I'm assuming this is your father?

It's tough to lose a parent. I lost my father years ago, and every time I need to work on something and don't know how, every time I get a question about family history, every time I go fishing, each time I want his input,  I regret that he's not still here. But I still remember everything that I did receive from him. Mostly strength of character and the willingness to share.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make this about my Dad. Still it's about all Dads who gave themselves to their children. As time goes by you'll remember your relationship with him. You never lose that.

Peace be with you!!!

Jesse sorry to hear about your loss.  I think Roger put it very aptly that your grieving will eventually turn into wonderful memories of him.  R.I.P. Glade.
