I have been talking with the Ron (owner) about this tractor since last November. When the pictures came in an email a month or so ago, I was excited to see it was in really good condition and had some options I had been looking to find. Thanks to Ron the owner for holding it for me till I could figure out how to get it back east. Big thanks to Jeff for picking it up and storing it. And to Brian for offering to bring it to the show this August in Dover PA. (Now if it does not somehow disappear when Brian takes delivery of it :-)) August 16th will not get here soon enough!
Options on this tractor:
1- HW - wide tires- first I have seen with "suburban" tires - I checked these tires were an option.
2- two rear cat eye tail lights- Ron looked at the wires and thinks it is probably original
3- rear pto/gear reduction box with engaging handle on the left hand side of the dash.

Good stuff:
Has all the chrome on the hood
Original muffler
Has the grill

Missing/incorrect:
Muffler heat shield missing
Throttle set up is not original
Foot control for hydro is missing
Handle for hydro is incorrect

Overall a great find and now you know why I have been selling tractors! I needed the cash and the room!image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

That is one fine looking machine. I know you will be happy when it gets home. Very nice! I may be able to pick mine up in the next week or two.

Well I'm glad this cat is finally out of the bag!  :smilewink:   Great to hear Scott!  Which Jeff?  And I'm not so sure that hydro handle isn't factory....you know how Bush Hog "used what they had"!  :rolling: That's sure a nice one!  Even has the under-seat tool tray!

well right now its sitting on the front of my trailer, making all the David's nervous . Had to sell off that under seat toolbox for gas money on the way back, but I think I got a plastic icecream bucket that will fit the hole.  Its like a tank without tracks!! Still have a couple of weeks before we go east, so I might have to get her down and see if it moves dirt with that big blade on the front.  Good thing I'm stopping along the way to pickup another tractor, I might have to feed the hog, a snack before we get to IN.  We will still have the back of the truck and part of the trailer empty if someone wants something moved closer to the East coast. All my other deals crapped out so i'll be coming back empty from Northern Indiana so far.

After my trip to PA to pick up The HW-12 and some other Bush Hogs, I am going to see if I can come up with some more money to make the plow day. I want to come if I can! If I don't come it will be lack of funds not lack of desire!
