...which is more than most people can say!

IMG_9574.JPG

It is a Wagner Little Giant 700A.

IMG_9573.JPG IMG_9575.JPG IMG_9576.JPG IMG_9577.JPG IMG_9578.JPG

It came with its own plow, mower deck, and snowblade.  All the implements will work. The deck is rough, one gear box is cracked and both blades are missing, but that's not the end of the world.

Thanks to Mike (Case444) for letting me get this creature from him, and thanks to Dave (oldbuzzard) for bringing it by when he picked up the forklift.

It has a beautiful patina, so I'll probably keep it original.  I was planning to restore it, but after it came in I just don't think it will be right to repaint it.

Does anyone else here have one?  If so, I'm curious if the light tucked inside the front grill is original, and whether or not the kill switch is originally a push button just like the starter switch.

I'd also love to have an owner's manual.

Ben W.

Congrats Ben. That is nice looking. It kinda reminds me of a MagnaTrak(in my pic). Were they related? In two weeks is the Zagray Show. There is a guy with a bus and trailer load of manuals. I'll check for a Wagner. Good Luck, Rick

Nice, looking forward to seeing more pics of that one.

Alan, you've seen this one plow.  This was the tractor I had at the Beacon one year.  Used to be my Wagner then I sold it to Mike.  It's a great little tractor Ben, you'll enjoy it.  I'm glad it found a good home.  I don't know about the light or the switch.  They were on there when I bought it.

That's neat.

I've thought of changing my name, but didn't want the hassle at the drivers license office, so

I named our dog Massey. :D

Then maybe you need to collect a different brand?  :poke:

I don't think the MagnaTrak was related, but I might be wrong.   If you find a manual, I'll buy it.

This little guy has been a traveler, then, Jeff.  Did you know who the original owner was?  I wonder what the history was?

Ben W.

I can't say that I do.  The guy I bought it from wasn't the original owner and I have no idea how many owners it had before him.  It's really in good shape for having so many owners.  I believe eveything is original with the exception of the things you mentioned and they still could be, just don't know.  I regretted selling this tractor from the day it left and was trying to figure a way to buy it back.  Just wasn't going to happen.  It's time to move on.  At least I can keep tabs on it now.  Enjoy it, it's a great little tractor.  Oh, by the way, they guy I bought it from lives in Mars, PA so you can say you own a tractor with your last name on it that came from Mars.
