Sorry Tom but I haven't taken any pictures yet. :smilewink:

I did get the motor set in there and bolted in, I used the fiber disk thing that I got from OldHarley and had to make spacers between the disk and flange on the back of the motor.

Once all that was done I had to clearence the hood on the left side (left side when sitting in the seat) so that the hood didn't touch the inlet for the fuel pump or the oil sending unit thing.

I got a longer throttle cable and longer choke cable as well and got those two hooked up.

Now, I have to REALLY research the wiring on this thing so I don't fry any parts :(

It lives :dancingbanana:

The guy that I bought the motor from came over yesterday and wired it up, the thing runs like a CHAMP!!! Now, I just have to get the exhaust fingured out, some new back tires, and a seat.  It will then be ready for the tiller to be attached :smilewink:

Anyone here have pictures of how I should run the exhaust on this thing???  The muffler will not fit under the hood so I am thinking some kind of stack setup with mufflers on them. :smilewink:

Ok, here are some pictures.

The picture that you can see the oil filter on I had to clearence, as you can see I took a little too much off but still works.

What I need to figure out is how to run the exhaust, the muffler you see in the pictures will not fit under the hood, so I was thinking maybe something like dual stacks with mufflers on them??

Good to see the photos. Though I hate stacks, I think I would ditch the original muffler and run dual stacks unless you have enough room to turn the exhaust outlets down and pipe into common tailpipe out the right side

Phil,

I thought of the dual stacks and I would go that route but I am a little nervous that I won't have anything to support them to so they don't break off.

I also have thought about piping both out one side then both into one bigger muffler but not really sure how to go about it. If I had some pictures for reference that would help some.

Kelly
