Congrats on your first repair. :thumbs:   Get a manual for it and read it cover to cover it will answer a lot of questions.

 

 

Get a new belt for it and then get to tractoring!!

If you haven't found it already, it is the neutral safety switch wire that plugs onto the trans axle.  The 160 and 116 are nearly identical in every way.  Don't let the sheet metal fool you.  The reason it likely fell off is that when they throw a drive belt, it usually knocks the wire off at the same time.

 

Welcome to the forum.  As for your drive belt, does it have the guide brackets mounted below the engine, still in place?  If not, it can be a real bugger keeping the belt on.  Also, you'll likely have to pull the steering shaft to install the new belt.  Tiz why so many are sold that "need new drive belt".   :thumbs:
