what sparkplugs are best and best gap for 214 john deere?    thanks

If it has a Kohler K series, it should be an H10C.

14 hp kohler ,,got her running but ran better when i changed plug but was plug i just had laying around.

i would just ask for h10c?

spark plug gap should be  0.035"

Yep, Champion H10C.  It is a very common plug.  If they don't have that, a CJ8 will work also.  It is the short version offered for clearance.  I like the H10C myself, it seems to last longer and not foul up like a CJ8 in a K series. 

 

I'd go to an auto parts store to buy one.  They should have them in stock if they are worth anything.

 

If you can't find one, I have them, too, but I hate to tell you to pay shipping on a spark plug.
