The Sycamore is still shedding some bark.  I'm enjoying the seat time!

In my Mom's neighborhood  sycamores  were planted to tree line the streets in the early fifties . They make nice shade but as you know kind of on the messy side . Good idea using the lawn sweeper to keep it clean

Nice to see the GT getting out and stretching her legs. Also  on seat time... Always a good thing on a nice sunny day.

We had a sycamore, used to be the biggest tree on the property. Cutting the field a few weeks ago, I saw it finally came down and was lying in the ditch. It suffered damage back in 1981 from a bad storm which tore out the major limb up top. Guess it created a hole in the top and it eventually rotted in the middle and came down. Looks like i will have plenty of firewood this winter.
