What is going on here? I am greasing the 2 front wheel spindles on my Ariens riding mower model 93604200 and I have already emptied 2 small grease cartridges (about 6 oz each) on each side and there is still no sign of any grease coming out either on top or bottom of spindle. Where does all the grease go? The spindle is not that big. 10 squirts of the grease gun on each side should be plenty to fill up the spindles even if they are completely dry.

Must be a hollow axle beam....you're filling the whole thing sounds like.

Yep, I usually take the wheels off every year or so and pack the hub....takes a fair amount of grease.

Also, are you sure your gun is working ok? How much of the 6oz charge remains in the cartridge?
