I enjoy Christmas, it's the weather in and around that time I hate.

A tall oak tree and a short rope for whoever brought that thought up in June :D

Reminds me, I still have a Christmas package I haven't opened from last year.  :bigrofl:

Don't get me wrong, I love the summer and growing things, but when it gets over +25 I'm for a shady place out of the sun. Have had sun/heat stroke one too many times. Given the choice I'll take -30 over +30 every time!

I totally agree with you.  I think it is easier to dress for the colder temps than the hot. You can always add another layer, but in summer, you can't keep taking another layer off.

No trust me. When I get down to no layers I am still hot. Although the neighbors leave me alone.

What am I going to do to entertain him out there?

Don't you have an extra pair of sticks and a dead cricket ?

When I go out in the woods, it's to get away from all the "entertaining". My other SIL from Florida has invited himself for next year. I'm not sure how to deal with that yet. If I clean my gun often enough, do you think it might accidentally discharge?   . . . (sigh) No, of course not!!!

Wow you would think that Florida was far enough away you wouldn't have to deal with them LOL.
I find that a big stinky cigar works wonders on my anti-social life.

It's a long complicated story. I shouldn't have brought it up. Everyone has they're story about relatives during the Holidays.

+30*... that's not even above freezing mark   :poke:  :poke:   :D

I am the opposite. I can always cool off somehow, but once I am cold/chilled, I am done for. My feet get cold first then I am totally miserable. I hate the winter.

My son makes fun of me all the time, if it gets below 60*F, I am looking for long sleeves, below 50* and I  am grabbing the sweatshirts. He still wears short sleeves and shorts until it hits 40* or so then he grabs pants and long sleeves.

I have a good friend from Alaska, not sure I have ever seen him in coat of any kind.  :D

Guess I forgot to mention, our +30 is about +86f !!  And about relatives coming to stay, I've forgotten who it was who said " fish and company start to smell after three days",lol. Sad to say, mostly it's true.
