 Went to a local show yesterday and there were some great cars there. I'm most familiar with cars from the mid 60s and newer and there were some really nice muscle cars there. More GM then anything else but a few Fords and Chrysler products as well. Heres a few highlights!

Some nice big block GM cars there. A nice 442 convertible and a Stage 1 Skylark , A 427 SS Camaro with a wicked blue paint job, and lots of Chevelles, Malibus, Novas

Something for the Chrysler fans as well. Those 340 Darts, oh do they bring back memories. A very popular car when I was a kid. I remember choking on the smell of burnt rubber after witnessing one enthusiastic takeoff.

Heres a couple of cars from guys I know. First a 70s Nova with a totally wild engine. Owned by a local mechanic, it has a custom built Fuel Injection system with 8 open intakes. He has them blocked with small red balls in the picture.  His other car is the nicest Chevelle I've seen, A ss 396 but it's in the paint shop now for a colour change.

This 54 Chev Convertible belongs to John, a friend of mine.

Didn't see any Ramblers Noel. No AMC at all. Those Javelins were nice cars but rare.

Any PEI cars, some look familiar.  My son has a 1964 Rambler American he is fixing up, and yes Ramblers are a rare breed a round here.  noel

I know what stage 1 means for an MC but what does it mean for a Skylark?  Thanks for sharing Brian.

It was a performance option package from what I can tell. Never heard of it before myself. Only 627 of that package were produced so it's a pretty rare car. Mostly it meant 345HP I think!

Noel, this show was sponsored by the NS antique car club. I don't recall seeing any PEI plates.

The Stage 1 was a Buick performance engine, first on the 400 then later the 455, rated at 360 hp and over 500 lb ft of torque, it was a true monster. Never heard of a stage 1 Monte Carlo though?  I owned a '73 Stage 1 Regal with turbo 400 trans and 3.42 posi rear, very quick for such a heavy car. Here are a couple of mine;
