Nerves can get frayed pretty easy during big events. Parents and grandparents, like all of us are human and sometimes humans have blinders on to the events around us. I'm sure they didnt mean anything by it and hopefully there wasn't anything said that can't be unsaid or mended.

Best news at 12:44pm Cooper Thomas was born. Don't know his weight or such yet. But all his parts work and he looks good. He has spent the last hour laying with mom and is good and happy.

Olcowhand and MH81 you are right. Thanks for the advice.

I spoke my piece and made my feelings known. Because my step daughter is very important to me. But today there were apologies all around and hugs. I think all is better.

We all over reacted. But one thing with me good or bad I am a man of my word and when I think or feel something I am sticking to what I believe in.

Welcome to the Forum, Cooper! Congrats to the both of you! Glad the issues are resolved. Some times it takes a lot to get folks to understand your feelings. But, it's best to get the message across without harsh words!

I haven't picked one out yet. I think his favorite color might be green and yellow!
