Wife and I hit a deer last Sunday night in her 1995 Mustang (her BABY!!!). Enough impact to deploy both air bags and totalled the car. I walked away without even a scratch, but Gina had her right index finger dislocated at the first joint near the tip of her finger, and what looks like a carpet burn under her chin from the air bag smacking her there. Could have been MUCH worse, but our guardian angels were working overtime!

Anyway, we're going to purchase this to replace her Mustang:

Found it on local CL by a neighbor just around the corner from us. We'll have it soon.

Sorry to hear about the mishap. That's in great shape. It's a big change from the Mustang!

I thought that when you broke a bronco, you got a mustang.  Guess the opposite is also true.

Air bags work pretty good.  Glad to hear nothing too serious was involved.

I like that Bronco better than a Mustang.  Congratulations on getting a nice looking one.

Thank you to everyone! We were extremely fortunate that it wasn't any worse. Wanna know what's bugging Gina the most? Not her healing finger, but the fact that she had the Mustang since it was new, and her deceased grandfather went with her to pick it out, and drove home with her off of the dealer's lot! I wish I was money bags, I'd have it fixed for her. I TOLD her that I had a chance to marry for MONEY the 2nd time, but got her! (She's an ANGEL!!!! Wouldn't trade her for NUTHIN"!!!!!)

The Bronco is a 1981 model. Hope to have it early next week.

Glad to hear no one was seriously hurt, except maybe the deer? I'm thinking the Bronco will fare a bit better than the Mustang if another deer decides to target her.

Get her a deer deflector for the front end.

Glad she wasn't hurt worse. I am not upset in the least over one less Ford though :dancingbanana: :dancingbanana: :rocker2:

Thanks, Willie. I'll eventually get a nice bumper on it.

(Probably would've been killed in a Chibby) :D

That's in really good shape for a 81. We just bought my son a 93 Bronco, I actually enjoy the 5 spd, but the 302 is gutless in that thing. I wished it would've been a K5 instead!   :D

Oh, glad to hear you all were not injured.
