Hello everyone,
Just got in from snowblowing. Man the snow was wet and deep! The little 1050 had its work cut out for it today. Its been snow here since thursday and finally let up sometime saturday night. Some pics of the finished job. The snow banks are taller than the cab of the tractor. The extended forecast is calling for mid to high 30's this week so I hope the banks will melt! Well enjoy the pics!

I got a workout today also with that heavy wet snow. Been walking thru it all day tapping trees in the sugar bush. We hung 300 buckets today and 350 going up tomorrow.

Yea Brian we just might live close to each other, I probably moved farther away when I moved into my house last may. That would be a neat picture deerlope. The heavy snow is no fun! I went out again monday night to clean up the mess that slides off the steel roof of my barn. OOOH WELL more seat time. Cant wait to mow grass!

I have seen the snow you guys are getting out East from SW Iowa.  We got about 1.5" and didn't start the tractor up for that little bit.  Talking 30 - 40- 40% rain or snow for Sat Sun & Mon for this area.  Going to be in the shop putting a couple replacement gears in the trany of the 6 speed.  Then swap the 3 speed back to the 6 speed again.  Will have an extra 3 speed laying around for ? ? ?

Glad to see that 1050 and the single stage was able to handle the job for ya. Good going and good luck with the rest of winter.

Man this is an old thread! I cant believe how much my house, driveway, vehicles, and equipment have changed since then. The 1050 is semi retired at this point. It comes out to rototil the garden a few times a year, but for winter and mowing my sub compact tractor get the call of duty. I'll never sell the 1050! Its Been in the family to long! I dont use my current Bolens stash much, but I don't think I could ever part with any of them!!
