Hey, yours looks MUCH better than my before picture, I can assure you of that!

I just don't understand how some can see a picture and I can't.

I'll try to describe the feeling. Ever read a book with some pages missing?

Here's my Unico 15 (MTD 990 series) before & after.

That's a beautiful restoration job! I'll have to show this to my brother. He has an old Farm King 990. They are great tractors......I like how you put ribbed tires on the front. I think it would look real nice with ag tires on the rear.

Here's what I've just picked up within the past two weekends. Works in progress but the first one runs and will have the snow plow installed asap, unless I find a blower attachment.

:welcome: to the group Dale , Glad you found us here. You made a nice haul there! I see lots of fun ahead working with those tractors. Just one warning and this may be to late. These tractors quickly become an addition! There is no cure but we have a very good support group here for you! Mike

I have that mower, but mine is a 1962 or 1963. My parents bought it before I was born. Mine is Red and it was sold by Whites Hardware. I will have to look again, but I think mine is a 600, 36" cut and a 6 hp motor. Your's is the first I have run across. I have mine apart right now with the intentions of painting and putting new rubber all around. The last time I had it running was in 1990 and the motor locked up.

MTD (Small).jpg Here's a pick of my Ranch King 679, being towed. I had to repaint the hood, put a black stripe down it to keep the sun from reflecting back into my eyes.

Hi,
This is my first post on GTT. I just picked this up yesterday, engine appears seized..not sure yet and starter/gen and brkt are missing. Came with a Haban snowblower and mower deck..best of all it was free.
