I'm slowing down a bit so I'm putting the 317 "Special" up for sale:

HPIM2718 (Custom).JPG

Powered by 18HP Kohler Command from a Miller welder. Frame stretched 28-1/2", Manual tilt Oak stake-side bed, original gas tank plus working saddle tanks:

GARDEN TRACTORS II 024 (Custom).jpg

Carlisle "All Trail" rear tires, saw-tooth fronts. Front fenders turn with wheels. Two person "demo" seat.

I built this for parades four years ago & have had a lot of fun with it, just need to cut back a little (getting old I guess)!

$2000, cash, picked up in Trenton, MO.

Cool! Is it green or grey? Looks grey in my pix.  That looks like something I need. Not a tractor, has the bed for parts looking and not a golf cart either.  I think you did good job on it.  Way too far for me to consider tho.

I hate to see you sell that, although I understand why you are doing it.  I always admired that piece of craftsmanship.

I don't understand. That looks like just the thing for someone who is slowing down. Slowing down is when you sell the mowing tractor and hire a kid to do it.

It's gray, just wanted to be different!

Actually, building them is half the fun!  I still have plenty of equipment to take a trailer load to shows!  ~~  Lowell
