Harlan,

Thank you, I think that this in sufficient information!

I remembered I had taken a picture of mine for another member. He needed the directions on it to know how to loosen and tighten the belt. I looked around a little and found it.

I went & took a good look at it today... I found both side engine covers....yay ... all is there.... sat for a couple years with old gas in it... I made an offer for the $200 cash but the mowing option is still on the table.... lots of paint wore off but actually pretty straight & not all rusted out... pretty good but ugly condition. I will get pictures on Saturday as I forgot my camera.....deck & blades are in great shape

Yes, but will it run now?  I wonder why the engine covers are off it. For 200 I think it's worth the risk.

going to have to go through the fuel system & clean it out... the motor turns by hand & not frozen up... good sign... the guy I got it from got it from the pawn shop he worked at.... they got rid of tons of riding mowers but gave him this tractor & it did run when they got it., no one wanted to buy it... hope all will be good... well worth the $200...he did try to get it running, reason for covers being off but it had old, old gas in it....only way to find out is put a hot battery on it & throw some fresh gas down the throat of it & crank on it....
