Oh man, it's a twin Onan. for some reason I was thinking it was a Tecumseh single.

That looks like a nice tractor for it's age.

Deck has obviously been painted along with the rims.

The best part it's got a bowtie on the front :rocker2:  :dancingbanana:  :D

I am told the Rustoleum old Cat yellow is a close match to the original Sears mustard color if you want to spray bomb it.

If you want tri-ribs, you may have to find skinnier rims for the front if you go with the smaller 4.8-8 size. They make a 16x6.5 tri rib

I think, but man they are $$$$$$   IMO.

Good looking tractor I hope it works out for you. You got to love them Thrush decals. I use to have them on a 64 Impala SS sounded nice....at least back then it did. I got hooked on these earlier Sears GT's especially since I got my SS15. I like the 16/6 twin but I hate that mustard color. I seen one similar painted black with silver fenders...looked nice.

Found them for 70 a piece, and ags for the rear for 100 a piece.  I didn't think 370 was all that bad for all new rubber, but then again that's actually more than half the cost of the asking price....

Bow tie would be the first to come off.

I was throwing around ideas after seeing some different color schemes on the internet.  I seen a blue and silver that looked really nice.  Also a Red and white, and a Orange and black.....I don't know, tractor is too nice to mess with the color too much considering it still has I'd say 90% of the original stickers on it.

I seen the deck and wheels were sprayed, but the deck looks very solid.

While the color always reminds me of "calf scour yellow", I would hesitate to paint it due to the fact that it has gone this long with these clothes on, and theyre so nice its a shame to change them now

Now I feel guilty for thinking about changing it.

I'll just buy it, remove the stickers, and put nominate it for GT of the month!

I agree its a good price.  If I could get him down 50 bucks to cover gas I would happy!

Are you still looking at getting the tractor? I just saw the ad again and noticed he dropped his price by $100.

He had it at 700, then he went to 600.  I emailed him about it at 600.  If he hangs on long enough he may drop to 500

I am watching his price.  I like the tractor A LOT.  But I am a cheap SOB.  Ask my wife!
