I have been picking up plows here and there for the last few years. At the show this last weekend, I picked up one that I didnt need, but just couldn't say no to.

I was putting it with the others and noticed something.
These plows are lined up with a seam on the cement and the steel is parallel with that seam.
The one on the right measures 6 1/8"
The one on the left measures 7 7/8"
The one in the middle 6 15/16"

I have spent a good portion of my evening last night looking for a reputable sears 7" plow reference.

The plow hasn't been modified, it is definitely a different cutting width on the point.
To add to the confusion, the model on the tag is 917.252030... The model for the std 10" plow.
Here are some other picsimage.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

Anyways, I got a complete light duty three point and the plow for what I feel was a fair price for both of us. $60 later and we were each happy.

Seems legit. I bet it was Leftover parts at the end of the production run.

Nice little plow.  For some reason I have this thought in the back of my head that the stickers that said Sears and Simpson Sears LTD were made for the Canadian market.  That might be why you can't find a reference and the number on it comes up as a 10" plow.  Hope this helps.           Stewart
