Are the parts the same in a kohler k90 and a k91, I know they should be.  kohler just changed the way they lettered the engines after the k90.  I am in need of a coil for my k90, it quits when it gets hot.  I think I need a 220435 but don't want to spend the $40 without being sure.

If anyone here has one let me know I would rather buy here than e-bay.

Yes, that is the right part number, but the types of coils used depended on serial number.

some of the older ones had the Barrel shape coils which were #220080, Those are NLA and cant say for sure if those are interchangeable.

If Bob doesn't have one, I have one for you.  I just finished putting together the first K90/K91 rebuild kit:

Got it fixed the other day, the wire on the back of the coil had come loose and had lost connection.  the kohler is a very early one it has the barrel type coil, I would like to get a new one as this one seems to be falling apart.  Ben what would that engine kit cost?
