PTO shaft for BMG Special 5 mower. The bearing on the gearbox side is needing replaced.
I understand that Servis/Rhino bought the BMG line.
What I do not know is if this was long enough ago that they would have parts?
There is a Rhino dealer about 15 miles from me but of course they are closed on Saturday afternoon.
Are these bearings pretty much universal so I can get them about any place.

I would think you could take the old bearing to a bearing dealer and have them measure the ID and OD and width and also if its a sealed bearing and they should be able to match it up for you, will probable be cheaper too.I don't any small tractor builders make their own bearings they just use an off the sheff bearing and enginer their machine around it.But there could be an oddball thrown in.

Also bearing are measured it one of two ways decimal or metric.

Hopes this helps you.

If you can see a number on the bearing then it's usually possible to get a replacement with that information alone.
