Allis Chalmers 616 Tractor for parts.
The tractor had a fire.

During a new starter install a spark set off the fuel. Tractor and engine was running well before the accident.
The hood was removed for service that is why it isn't burnt.

It has the 60 inch mower deck, I even have a spare brand new $50 dollar belt I'll throw in.

It is what it is... the tires never burnt so the rims and all are good.. I see many parts to repair on eblay or strip and sell what ever .

$300.00 in new parts in last month.

Too bad about the fire. Those are an awesome GT, more of a compact tractor than a GT actually. I guess that's why most manufacturers moved away from under the hood tanks.

Rick, the parts alone are worth double the asking price. I would be all over it if I were closer.

Ain't never been a problem before, Brian! You've bought tractors all over the Eastern half of the states!

How did it turn out?

I passed on it because I couldn't move it until I have a bigger trailer.  See http://gardentractor...ns/#entry463836

Good Luck, Rick
