I emailed asking for a serial number. Looks to have the glass tail light too.

Not interested in it at that price. That front bracket setup sure has seen better days!

Not for that, he's already robbed two from my backyard in RI, but I don't see him going after this one. D4-10s are the most common models found.

Yep, it's a nice original, but not $1200 nice!

Key words there!  No matter to me...I'd not give that much no matter what auctions bring.

I made them an offer. I don't need it, but if I get it, it will be a gift to someone.

WHAT??????? Robbed?? He called me, I could not refuse his generosity? :D  Plus the two are a V4-7 and a D4-12......neither one I currently have in my collection. If it had been any other model I would have passed it on to you and Chris......well......may not if it was a nice HD-12........ or  a BH sickle mower, or a S4242 rotary mower......or a S3000 tiller.....but I would draw the line at that point......well.....maybe for a set of wheel weights... :rolling:

I got the call on that one from a guy in NC.....I thought finally...I am not going to have to drive 10,000 miles to get a Hog.....then he said its in KY.....hmmm...and its a HD-12............hmmmmmmm.........it was not easy but I HAD to go get that one, plus I got to hang out with some really nice guys(and gals) at the Evansville show....does not get any better than that!

If it makes y'all feel better, I had gotten an email from a guy back in the winter who said he had seen a trailer full of bush hog parts and tractors at a show in SC.....now I am thinking he is thinking of me and just got his shows and states mixed up......but still said yes I am interested.......so I don't hear anything so I figure it is a no deal......well I found the email about mid March this year and sent him another email about it. He responded he would get in touch with the guy and see if he still had it......next day I get an email that some one from TENNESSEE had come down and bought it all the week before!!! So yes...it happens in my neck of the woods too!! I wish I could figure out who that was that bought the stuff and what he got in the deal!! :D

Scott, you were gracious enough to sell me the HD-12 rolling chassis that become my HD-12 DIESEL, so I'm happy!!!  I was happy before that anyway!
