Thought I test the waters, got a bunch of extra part with my panzer deal and wanted see if anyone has an extra gear box they would trade.

I have;

Engine mounting plates

reverse disks

set of rear rims

Mule drive (deck)

Misc briggs parts (carb, covers)

steering links

Drive Casting

Drive Pulleys (2 and 3 speed)

Drive chains

belts (more than I can count)

some deck parts

and maybe the TA-60 umbrella

Thanks, Rich

Well, I guess I didn't know just how pricey these are.  Two have gone on Ebay in the last two weeks.  One for $140 and the other for $175 both plus shipping.  These were gear boxes only, no idler pulley or linkage.

Yep - those things are getting to be pretty pricey, especially if you're bidding against other people on ebay. You'd almost be better off to buy a whole tractor that happens to have one of those gear boxes on it already.. That way, you'll get the box plus a whole tractor for spare parts.

I had a few inquires about just buying the parts.  I will do that if I can't find anyone to trade with, just PM me and stay tuned.  As for the briggs parts I don't have very much;

carb and intake, head, top air deflector tin, points cover,  crank case cover and a recoil part,
