Dad went on a little trip and picked of this nice 1250 today. The engine has been rebuilt and bored but was just never put back in. Deck and front blade has seen better days but there is some good parts and I think I can save the deck.  Plans are to clean the tractor up look everything over on the tractor and engine then drop the engine back in her.  I am thinking this will be a nice tractor to put my large frame sickle bar on.

That looks like it will make a good tractor. Even better with the sickle bar!

I think you need some air in the one rear tire. Looks a tad bit low.

Glad to see another one saved. Looks like a very solid 1250,looks like it was stored inside. I would like to find a deck for my 1250.

What is this now? #33 of Bolens tractors for the tube and large frames? Keep going and you'll able to outsource those tractors to all of the unemployed auto workers in Detroit.  :rolling:    :worshippy1:   :rocker2:

Good find and they are a really solid tractor with their lower gearing than any of the other large frames.
