That's an 1862.  Nice machine especially with the power steering.  Did the hoods come with it?       Stewart

Congrats on the cub  looks to be a Cyclops. (MTD)

Actually your number is 824484, so this should be it.

1992, either a 1861 or 1862, don't have time to check further, sorry.

But go to TractorData.com to find out more.

Thanks. No hood just what u see plus mower deck. It had sat for 2 years all I had to do was pump tire up new gas check fluids and it fired right up. I bought it for the motor but now that I drove it around I might try to fix it up. I've only had John Deere's so I don't know much about Cub Cadets.

Started taking it apart tonight. I don't think it ever had a bath.

I sold one of those last fall, used it for two years sold it for the same $$ I bought it for, nice machines for mowing and blowing snow but swapping from one to other was a bit of a pain, Im going old school now so I have an Original and a Loboy, but theres nothing wrong with those 1862s;)

Does anyone know if any other model front end parts will work or do they have to be just 1862
