Hello,i deal with allot of cubcs and fell pretty dumb asking this question..I have a cub and i was told it was an 1872. I Looked up the vin and serial # and from what ive seen its an 1810. The thing is, on the side, the only part of the decal that is left is a big piece that says hydro...The 1810 from pictures ive seen doesnt say hydro on it,niether does the 1872. If someone could please help me clarify what exactly this it, it would be great. Thanks.

VIN: 147650100

S/N:759845

MAnufactur date code: A307G

If you can post a pic or two, it would be a great help.

Ok this is a simple one , the serial number tells us its either a 1810 ,  1811 or 1812 if its has a twin cylinder 18 hp Kohler Magnum engine and depending on if it has hydro lift or not .

1810 is manual lift , the 1811 and 1812 is hydro lift with the 1812 having dual hydraulics with front aux. hydraulic ports .

The only other hydro GT cubs built with that possible serial number were the 1210 , and 1211 .

and they are single cylinder Kohler powered 12hp cubs .

The 1872 wasn't built till serial number 767,352 and above and is a SGT .

It could be a 2072 which was built during that serial number range , but it's also a SGT .

I also have a 1811 hood here on one of my cubs and it does say HYDRO in black lettering on the side toward the back of the decal .
