my  hydrostatic simplicity has a filter in the back # 1671234  and was talking to a guy at napa he said couldn't cross over so we called all the places we could think of for the right one but with no luck so he said the napa gold filter 7035 would work just fine. My ? is will it be ok or will it screw something up . the filter has the same threads and same rubber ring in the same place just wonder if its gonna cause problem the filter said 28 micron and the old one said 25 micron any help would be great ,hate to mess up a good tractor :biting_nails:

It's definitely a hydro filter! 32 Micron is pretty small. Not sure if the bypass pressure is right for you as I don't know your equipment!

I haven't a clue what the specs are for that tractor. Hope someone in the know comes along. I just looked up the info on NAPA's site!

If you have the rear tiller attachment, make sure you use the short filter or else the power belt to the tiller will rub through the filter. I have used oil filters in the past and have not had any issues. However that is just my experience with using oil type filters when I am unable to find the 1671234.
