The local golf course I work at recently go sold and is under new ownership. The new owners decided to sell off most of the old equipment. There were three Nationals that my brother and I have been trying to "rescue" for some time, but the old owners wouldn't sell them. One of them is complete and runs fairly good, the other two are mainly for parts or make one good one out of the two of them. I made an offer on the three of them that I didn't think they would accept, and next thing I knew, I own three National mowers.

Well, I paid for them and brought the good one and one of the frames home today. My mom found the good one sooner than expected and was a little mad, to say the least. She still doesn't know there is another frame here and another one to still make its way home.

I will put pictures of the two I brought home on shortly, my brother has the camera.

Be sure to point out to your mom all the bad stuff you could be doing.

Wait till you have a wife, and don't even have 'your own' money anymore.  You think Mom's made...just wait!  :rocker2:

Sad but true!! Wives are worse...

I am not so sure about that.  At 64 I can tell my wife to shut up and go to her corner; not so much with my Mom.

Well, I got the good one running and driving good. I also got the reels somewhat adjusted so that it will cut better than it did. The hand clutch is really fun to use.

It's fun to use after you get used to it lol. I've pulled the wheels off the ground many times with that mower.
