So I'm now on to the deck belts, when I spin the middle blade should the other 2 also spin? I tried removing the top cover on the deck to get to the inner belt but once the nuts get to a certain point the whole bolt spins, I flipped the deck over and the bolts are a non head flat type bolt, no way of grabbing it, so how can I get hold of that bolt?

They are supposed to be carriage head, I think.
Spray them all down and let the nuts soak with penetrating oil.
I use a rotary grinder to make a flat blade slot to keep it from turning. Go to regular bolts for reassembly. They hold a little more grass, but as long as you wash it all out, you'll be fine.

Mowed first 2 acres with her today, all went well. Burns a little oil will white smoke for a min then stop its on and off oil smoke, not bad tho. One thing is I hate the exhaust placement if the winds blowing as it was today I'm breathing in fumes and grass dust worst combo and this is even with my mask. Towards the end of my cutting blade belt popped off. So I have 9 acres to cut left then on th my grandmothers 1 acre and aunts acre. I'm putting her to work.

Also got a free parts or mower to rebuild a newer Murray twin piston 18 hp. It's missing 2 wheels, hood, and few misc things but good deck frame and motor, just might rebuild her to sell or have as a backup to the roper

So I busted a belt and broke my good mounts today, wind caught the hood and cracked those fiberglass mounts right off, is there a way i can put a metal hinge on the hood? Don't really want to run hoodless
