I still smile every time I go thru this thread.
I wonder if it would be possible to upload the pics direct to the site sometime instead of smugmug. There is already a dead link in the first post and I have seem more broken links across the site lately.

If the pics unlink, future readers won't have a clue what we are all gushing about :D

Would the dead links be related to youtube videos or pics?

I will look into uploading to this site only, or both.

Thanks for the kind words as always!

Mainly pics. I have seen a lot of sites with a bunch of little boxes with x's in them where a picture used to be. I think we have all seen stuff like that doing google searches for information on some project or another.
I dont want to be a wet blanket or a negative, but When someone takes the time to document a build, restoration, repair well and then a year later the post has holes in it. I just feel bad that they wasted their time and the thread is less useful to the next guy.

Thanks for considering.

I was looking those on a webiste.  Never knew I could do that.  Now this is the spiral style cells they talk about, yes?  It take a red cap any day.  Some have ratings of 900 CCA, would be overkill but if I can...I will :D

I'm pretty sure you can.  A lot of the guys around me with the lifted jeeps and rock crawlers use them cause of the angles they end up in.  And yes they are the spiral type.  The one I have looks like 6 d cell batteries in two rows of three just a lot bigger

I understand.  I have been in the situation before.  The site I use, I pay for.  It host all my photos for family, clients and tractor stuff.  The site will always be up and running ,and i dont plan to not use it.  But I will work on it throughout the weekend.  So the photos might be down for a little bit.

Can you upload PDFs on this forum and post them?

I have a listing of all the major parts I purchased for the repower minus little purchases like fuses or fuel line.

Yes, but they won't show in pic form, but as a clickable download.  You upload them in file form, but simple as pics to do.

You'll never buy a ready made diesel tractor for that kind of money. Look at all the fun you had too.

Thanks olcowhand, I should have done one like that.

So I purchased the 400 for $1K back in 2006 then spent $400 on the kohler repower 2013 sold last month for $400, now a full diesel repower .  That list has major items, but you figure the time spent driving back and forth to th store, some time with the kids, and some fuel lines :D

Its a prized deere, that I wont find anywhere else.

Now I have a 110 RF, maybe I will throw a perkins in there.
