Hello,

New to the Panzer forums, but just picked up 2 tractors, a T707es (with k-161 kohler) and a PA Panzer with no engine.

I also got a TA-60 Sun umbrella I think is original and in pretty good shape.  Has any one seen one of these?  How would they mount to the tractor?

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum.  I think you'll find it's a great place for information and an even better place to hang out.

Nice Panzers.

I was just at a collector's place last weekend who had two of those umbrellas but they weren't mounted.  I just looked through a bunch of advertising for pictures of the umbrella and came up empty handed.

yes, I got one in Virginia and one in Maryland, both on CL.  I will take a picture of the Umbrella tonight and post tomorrow.  This is the closest I can find for a mount.  Looks like a long bar off the top of the hitch (look at the trailer photo from this sale brochure)

Thanks for the comments,

OK I found it! Looks like a long bent flat piece of steel that connects under the seat using the same seat bolt.  Check out the top picture.  BTW anyone ever see the Select-A-Speed kit shown in the same picture?

I looked right at both of those ads and didn't even notice the umbrellas. Guess that'll teach me to be in a hurry.

Same guy I mentioned earlier had several of those Select-a-speeds.

I've got the select-a-speed on a T-758 with the snow thrower. It only has two speeds - normal and half speed. I understand it was designed primarily for the T-707esl Loader but also works great with the snow thrower, especially in the wet deep stuff. It'll really make the tractor crawl with the drive belt on the low speed pulley. Cub Cadet had something like this called a Creeper Gear.
