Last week it was in the 50s and today up to 84*.  Hard on us older fellars.

Really brought the itty bit ants into the house to cool off too.  Wife is annoyed, told to gather up a bunch and we came have some ant soup, she was not amused to say the least.

95* here about 50 mile east of ya. Been working in the shade as much as I can today. Skeeters are really bad. Think I will go fishing tonight after it cools off. Not going to complain about the heat, not after the cold, cold, cold winter we had. Stay cool and have a cold one. I'm going to.                                  Roger.

Oppressive humidity here today and 84F....seems much hotter than that though.  Well, it was 90 just a few minutes ago, but rain pushing close.

88* here today, I was out by 6:30 this morning painting the west end of the house.  I've been wanting to get it done for two weeks, but forecast was for rain every day (none showed up).  Today was lower humidity & no rain forecast until tonight, so I got it done finally!  ~~  Lowell

Glad I'm not the only one. I spent the day pressure washing and scrapping the house getting ready to paint next weekend.

Yep! In Indiana, think down in Big City, they have a big switch that says "Summer Mode" and they turn that on about June or little earlier!   Every year like that! I like it warm, but have been working in it and all burnt up now, even my bald head! Too hot and sweaty for a hat, but should have used one.

We went from mid 50's to 90 for several weeks! That is not good!

Quit yer bitchin!  At least you ain't plowing it!  Surround the house with some 'Sevin' and the lil buggers will leave you alone!

20 days from now, the days start getting shorter.

I've got 40 cord of firewood showing up this week.

Embrace the heat, bugs, and remember the past 6 months. :D

Not complaining just wondering where spring went this year.  Got up to 86* in the shade but it was very low humidity so I did the final tilling of the daughter's garden.  Brought up another dozen or so softball sized rocks, their property is right next to a gravel quarry.

Seems to be that way, in the past few years. It's like someone flips a switch, and

we change seasons/weather patterns.
