I saw in last weeks rain where the water was going down a mole hole, so I got the hose out and went to flooding it. The little budger tried to close it off. WRONG! Trusty cultivating fork poked him full of holes! Got more water going down the hole now in case there are more down there.

When the Rotts were up here, they had trenches dug all over the yard going after them. I need to haul more dirt in yet to level things out. I found 2 more spots that I am 'watering' now. Anybody got some fire hose? Got a hydrant down at the corner. Bet that would flood them out!

Could this be Caddy Shack II in the making? We once had a cat that would bring them to the front door all the time....dead.

no nothing seems to want them after their dead. Damn things have been bad here the last couple of yrs. They used to just make a single line here and there, but now they just plow of the whole area up, back and forth. I never seem to be in the right place to get at them.

I have had problems with voles and moles. That cheap pink bubble gum on a mouse trap seems to do the trick

It would flood the basement too!

I giggled at the thought of you playing "Whack-a-Mole"  in your yard!  The neighbors must have loved the show!

It was more of 'drown-a-mole', really!
