So i brought home another reel mower today. Found it to be a 1950 and it has a REO model 552 engine on it but there doesn't seem to be anybody with parts. It needs a throttle spring in the worst way. I may be able to make a briggs governor spring work but I'm not sure. Anybody know anything about these old REO's? I'd love to at least get a gasket set if anyone has them.

P.S. If you want to see pics I'll try and get some up tomorrow.

I would like to see picts. I was just given an old reel mower and I was beginning to think about trying to get it running again.

Here is a place that has gaskets and parts.  http://www.reolawnmo...om//partsp.html  I've never dealt with him but know people that have.
