Got the flywheel off and cleaned up all the corrosion, the motor now spins free :-) I'm thinking that I might be of on the year of this tractor, it has no points!!!! There is some type of a pickup coil on the outside of the flywheel and a square box shaped ignition coil on the fan shroud. What years where these used?

I don't like free stuff because it leaves you no room to haggle on the price. It has electronic solid state ignition. Not sure of the years used but late 60's till maybe 1974 or so.

I guess at least 1975 if that is the year of your tractor.

So I was actually able to drive this around a little yesterday!!!!!!! It ran great until I ran out of gas :-( I was holding the gas tank because all of tin is removed lol. I had to take the top off of the front tranny, it was full of water and one of the shift rails was rusted up solid, got that freed up, filled both trannys with fresh 80w90 and they both shift fine now:-).
