I over tightened one of my rear hubs(not knowing they where cast iron)and cracked it.Is there any other lawn tractor hub that will work?

I have a pair from 990 Farm King. Split, meaning open slot one side?  Has bolt to squeeze tight and set screw bolt on other side? For 1-1/8" axles with keyway.  Can take pictures. Sound like what is wanted?

Welcome to the forum Pricetag30.

Just for a visual, these are the hubs from the 990.

You may have a 5 bolt pattern or yours may have studs.

Havent actually seen my 960 hubs for awhile now, never take the weights off it, but I think they have a 5 bolt pattern and are for a 1" axle so there might be differances to watch for... or I have oldtimers disease;)

yeah, guess some smaller models had the 5 bolt smaller wheels. Axle size, don't know, but makes sense. Ebay and/or Joes Outdoor Power on there might have something, have to ask there.

Somebody on MTF just had one of those 4 bolt hubs break nearly in half, why would they use smaller hubs on a 15" wheels... seems kind of odd.
