Tripped over this in a barn. It's old and buried. Not sure what kinda $ it would take to get it, but I'm sure everything is for sale at this place.
It has a sickle on it, is old, and kinda orange.

Can anyone tell me what it is from these terrible pictures?

I'm kind of thinking maybe a Farmette or Chief. I'll have to do some comparing.

Nor is it a Waterloo.  Oddly, I have mixed emotions on that point.  While it would be great to find yet another one to add something to the sparse history, I would be sad to see one in that state.

If anyone has a Waterloo walk behind with a serial number lower than 600, drop me a note.

Mark, did you see the s/n on that Clinton?

There is an example of one of the serial number suffix letters Jesse and I were talking about.

the red one is using a 6to1 reducer, your find don't appear to have one.

The way the engine is inside that frame and the linkage running over top of where the belt would run ought to be a dead giveaway.  To someone other than me I mean.  :D

Its got one, but the PTO end is missing the drive pulley.

I see it.  Thanks for pointing it out.  It is the same font as the model number, which is bigger than the serial number font.  Does make you wonder if that is why it slowly got moved to the model number block.  Maybe it is just the serial number suffix.
