I am in need of one of these parts. Completely aluminum. Starter generator belt goes on this for electric start models and rope pull for manual start models. Goes on a 12hp Briggs engine(1969) engine.

Yep, they're still available for about $93 bucks. I want one used because I'm not going to pay that much.

I do have that part mine came off  of a 300421.One problem I noticed was that the holes for the rotating screen do not look to be in good shape

IMO $93 is not a bad price for something to still be available 45 years after the engine was built......

That's my motto as well :D

I always tell people I'd rather have the factory stock the parts and pay a bit more compared to the dreaded NLA.....
