We usually just throw stuff together but I really like what they call the meat lovers omelet. Normally they have bacon, sausage, ham and cheese. I love onions also, and just western omelets are pretty good too. It's actually what we are having for breakfast this morning LOL.

That sounds pretty good George! I like about anything in mine, as long as it's not "spicy hot." Boy, I'm getting hungry... I gotta get out of this food forum!

I like hot food. What is bad though is I sweat a lot even if it isn't all that hot and I put tabasco on a lot of stuff. Not on my omelets but on other stuff and I really sweat then. I always get the nuclear hot wings too LOL

Hey, what's going on? Last time I looked here, there was a delicious pizza being advertised in the header. Now there's a weight loss advertisement. I think somebody is trying to tell me something!

best omelet? up here in north eastern saskachewan at this time of the year that's easy...the wild mushroom season is on. For supper last night I made a Morel Omelet. Main ingredients are morels, feta cheese, chives, and a touch or garlic...delicious!

I like a western omelet personally. But I'll eat just about anything you can put in the egg!

With all the eggs I ate as a kid, we try to cut down on the yolks a little. One yolk out of 4 goes in. Don't miss them much.
Onions, green peppers, (green chillies if we have them), ham, 1-2 drops vanilla if no chillies, and shredded provolone. Dash of salt, ground pepper.

I don't like to over cook my omelet, but i can't get it down if there is any uncooked egg on the top, so I flip at the 3/4 point. It seems even if I cook them covered, there will be a spot that doesn't steam cook all the way, and I'm done eating. We have an Advantium microwave that has a upper halogen cooking lamp in it. If I am going for pretty, I will put them in there for a while instead of flipping.

It doesn't take the place of the chillies, it's just that they don't compliment each other very well. There are some foods that just don't play nice together :D

Sounds good, i will have to try that sometime. One question tho, does it come with a tic-tac?

:say_what:....to ruin the taste?

Actually, it's not too spicy, just an enjoyable (to me) taste. .....The tic-tac would only be needed to kill the onion-breath.
