I would love to know what that gear box came out of,  If it really came out of a gt will it take the 100hp??  Or do you change the gears in it?  Probably the most expensive part there other than the motor.  Again from one fabricator to another nice work!  You can see the quality in the pics

My son started assembly after paint.  I snapped some pics. I'll update the thread as he gets more done. The hood is original paint and will be left as is.  I set it together for the first couple of pics before he got home from the machine shop.

More pics of progress. The gear box is installed. As is the steering and rear Axle. Height is adustable by flipping the axle mounts and spindle height is adjustable. The factory controls were left on for appearance. As you can see the gear box height is adjustable for belt alignment. The rear axle mounts are also adjustable for tightening the chain. My son is making split sprockets for easy gear change. The steering wheel will be change to a drilled  15" aluminum and the throttle will be on the wheel. Stay tuned for pics. The Nitro Top Fuel car is done so he will be at the track on weekends for licence runs . This is his weeknight project he lives above the shop at home.
