An this folks is why your not supposed to park in front of the fire hydrant in less you have your windows down or own a convertible. How ever i hope for this guy the hose is in good shape or he may just get his interior washed real good.

I've seen where there was a study done and they found that drivers of that make vehicle are considered the worst in the world according to insurance claims and other issues. Apparently, they are the one of the worst at parking too!

Scene from "backdraft"

Been there done that, back in the 70s. Had a car parked in front of a hydrant and it was very close. To bad it was a convertable.......cut through the top and broke out the drivers side window to get the hose hooked to the hydrant. Chief wanted to hook the Engine to it and drag it side ways out into the street. Decided he didn't have time for that so he opted for plan B. Owner came out and looked at it and said, " ....hmmm, wonder what the wife is going to say about what happened to her car...."? Saved a whole block, minus one business that night.
Was a good looking 68 Impala even after the hose though the top and windows. PD cited him for parking next to fire hydrant and obstructing a fire scene. Roger.

Needless to say the Chiefs wife was embarrassed to say the least from coming out from her manicure appointment.
