That's bad news. Less groundwater in OK will eventually reduce the water tables in NC and that will end up forcing you to drink less coffee.

My aunt who lived out in West Texas (Monahans) alway said it took less water to make a good cup of coffee than most folks think.
You could stand a spoon up in a cup of her coffee! Just use less water!

A friend of mine used to say that he liked his coffee not to spill when he knocked the mug over.

Raining here rite now, looked to be a vey nice day and then it started to rain about 3am.  nice steady rain, good for the grass and crops.  I do love the sound and smell of a rain storm there is nothing like it.  Hope you get the rain you need, there is nothing worse than a drought.

You just don't want to make up your dedicate all at once.  We did that a few years back and had flooding everywhere.  I couldn't go to work because the water had flooded I-20.   Glad to hear you are getting some rain.  We have apparently dropped into our summer weather pattern already with scattered showers every day and plenty of heat.

Got another 1/4" today! It was just a heavy sprinkle, but that should let it soak in better!
