There was a line of rain from the Kansas line down to OKC earlier. By the time it got here, it is just scattered thunderstorms. Figures! Got thunder, but the storm is west of us moving north!

That's bad news.  Less groundwater in OK will eventually reduce the water tables in NC and that will end up forcing you to drink less coffee.

Bad news, Willie! We are WAY behind on rainfall! At least 6" so far this year plus the deficit from last year! Lakes are getting way low around here! Some ponds are drying up!

If there was just a way to hook up a pipeline from here to there. We could probably turn the desert into a rain forest.

Ben I will find a way to make coffee. Mark my words.

Sorry it missed you, Kenny. We had several nice showers throughout the day today in NW Arkansas. Had a beautiful rain Saturday morning just before sunrise.

Glad you're getting some rain up there. We both need a lot more to try to get back to where we need to be.

Just checked the Weather Underground Station about a mile South of me. We got nearly an 1" out of this! It sure was good to see!

I know one year we had a drought and I remember walking outside smelling rain and thinking nothing smelled sweeter.
