So, maybe 6-8 weeks ago some how my JAVA got screwed up/ turned off or something. Now I cannot view a lot of pics on various websites and I use Photobucket for all my pics and I cannot see any of them.

Any ideas how to fix it?not sure what even happened to screw it up.

Running Windows 7

What web browser are you using?

I'd suggest you use Chrome anyway, I THINK it doesn't use Java.

Marty,
If you just upload them all here... :D
One of the 55 reason is I dislike PB and most of the other site like it.
Once in a while, I have to... But not often.

It's happening in both Chrome and IE. When I go into PB, I can do a properties look see in the pathway, it states java error.

Not just PB or hostings sites, I am even getting site uploaded pics not showing up. Again, going into properties there is a Java script listed so it's gotta been something in my settings with Java.

A note of caution when you get these Java Update messages..  It may be something else..  (like a hacker or a virus)  I'll delete the note,

Check my Java Version in Control Panel and if indeed it needs updating I'll Uninstall Java in Control panel-> Programs->  Uninstall then go right to Oracle.com and get the update.  Quick and easy is seldom safe in my cautious mind..

But that's just me!  (maybe others too?)

Marty, that sounds like a script not running. I don't think JAVA has anything to do with pics on here.
I would check for browser helper objects and run your virus/malware stuff.
