i was wondering what mower deck spindles interchange with the ht series mower deck? i have the 54" deck and have two other large frame decks from 1886's that i could rob parts from. there is one of them that are not sounding good even though i keep them greased on the 23.

Not sure which decks you have but the 18070 and 18071 will interchange the 18110 uses different ones. I do have new and used ones here for both styles if you need them.

The two you pictured should interchange

Best way to tell if you have the "old" or new spindles is by looking at the sheave on top and the aluminum housing below, the old style have the cast iron sheaves like in your picture and square spindle housing below, the "new" style has a steel sheave and a round shaped housing below.

Both your decks look interchangeable as they are of the "Old Style" design.

There's really not much to go wrong with these, are you sure its just not the bearings going bad and need to be replaced.

Let me know if you need any help with parts.

That Newer green deck will not have the same spindles as the older red ones you have...
