Ive decided to start a new thread since the questions I initially had were answered in the previous thread.

The little ive mowed with this makes me want my parts to get here now.  Im ready to see how it does with the whole yard.  I initially planed on putting the 3ph on a separate valve but as easy as the deck came off I may not do that now.  Ill have to see how easy it is to reinstall it.

Petes small engine seemed to have the best prices when you included shipping.  I didn't want to order from several places.  His prices...

65-220-MT 388 Blade Adapter   $7.85

3356-MT 032-50 Blade Replaces 742-0171  $12.60

75-079-MT Belt Replaces MTD 754-0197   $32.95

I placed the order last night and just got notification of it shipping.

I have bought many items from Pete's Small Engine. No problems, ever.

Just in case you did not notice, There are two carriage lift holding brackets, one on each side to hold the it up when using other implements. I made mine for the tractors that did not have them.

I haven't noticed.  I wonder if mine has them?  I for sure wont be messing with the hydraulics now.   Thanks for the info.

Sanded and second to last coat applied. I'm a great Dane dealer. Our paint is good but the nozzle sucks. I dint think I'll use it for the last coat.

It's amazing how worn a set of blades can get. Years of sharpening. The New adapters are aluminum and thicker.

Looking real good. I'm hoping to do some sand blasting on mine this weekend. Have you painted any of the frame or tunnel yet....will this be black.

I'm not painting anything else right now. I just did the fenders due to the rough condition.

Tap time lol

I added a grease fitting to the gear box. It was empty when I took the cover off.

Someone has messed with the idlers but I halfway figured it out. Someone has added stuff to.

I also adjusted the friction on the hydro so it more stays where I put it.

Finally got to mow with her tonight. It mows great but there are a few issues I don't like. there is a vibration. I feel it bad in my feet. This could be because I have the fenders off. It speeds up bad when going down hill. The seat seems really high. Maybe I have short legs but I've never noticed it.

More mowing today. I hate the fact this thing speeds up and slows down depending on the terrain.

David, sounds like wear in the hydro causing the speed changes with terrain.  Changing oil to a thicker viscosity usually helps with that.

It's not the engine it's the hydro. It's running atf. What oil would you suggest?
