I got the carburetor rebuilt yesterday, got the gas tank cleaned and then the old thing fired right up.

It runs really good and there was no sign of smoke.

Now I need to change the oil and then reassemble it.

Thanks for everyone's help.

Here are a some pictures, The first picture is when I first got it, the other 2 are from a couple weeks ago when I got tires on it.

Now I need to replace the belts on the PTO, then I need to fix a bent pulley bracket on the mower deck and then I can resemble and go out for a test drive!.

Although I do believe the hydraulic valve for the deck lift is stuck, I can't get it to move, the other hydraulic valve moves just fine, I'm not quite sure on how to fix it, I have been soaking it with penetrating oil but no luck yet.

If you can't get the valve to work someone on here may have one.. if not ebay is usually loaded with them. I've seen them go all over the place price wise - but you should be able to get a decent one for a fair price.

I like the tires you put on it - looks like modern subcompact from the rear.

What size are the rear tires? Do you need the spacers for hood hinge? It looks like it is unbolted. If you need the spacers blackjackjakexxix probably has some. I purchase a set off of him for my HT23. I took the hood off... and they grew legs and walked off never to be seen again lol.

I'm going to pull the valve off and see what I can do about it, thanks for the info.

In the pictures the hood is just sitting on it, I have the spacers unless they wondered off, last I saw they were on the seat, I hope they are still there .

The tires are 26-12-12, they are a really nice tire, they grip better then turf but yet don't tare up the lawn like the Ag's.

I think they are called "R4", like a industrial tread style. :rocker2:
