Been looking for a small K-series to repower my Bolens and came across this little hot rod on kijiji... stopped on my way to work and tossed it in the trailer.I'd guess it used to be a CC O at some point

..but I think its a good lookin little engine... 8hp K

Nice score on the engine. I wonder if it's had any internal performance mods done as well.

Good score. It'll be interesting to find out if more was done

to it other than chrome.

Are you planning on opening it up, or just leaving it, if it runs

good.

Nice looking engine. Good haul.
Be interesting to see if it runs as good as it looks.

I wonder what happened to the hood. It looks pretty complete otherwise.

As for the cart it came on... not sure what to do with that...  its missing Alot of parts, basically a rolling chassis.... but Im pretty sure its Cub Original, or was, kind of sad really.

I wont open the motor unless I need to, bright yellow paint and put it in the Bolens RaM because I would like to rebuild that engine, but I'd like to do that next winter so it needs a temporary engine while that goes on so I still have a snowblower. If it turns out the engine is too far gone to rebuild then the 8hp will have to remain in that tractor.. but I think it will look real good with it in there.Agson1.jpg
