Hi guys I thought some of you guys on here could help me out with the 3pt hitch on my new to me lgt165. Iput my mold board plow on and my hitch won't lift high enough to clear the ground. my plow is a brinly 12" plow. Is there any way that I can adjust the hitch to get more lift? tractor is early 80's closed side model.

Thanks

All my Fords have 3 points on them and they will lift the drawbar to 18". Does yours? If not then the link going from the rocker shaft to the actuating arm under the right foor rest could be too long for your application. You could make a new one or shorten the old one but be careful as you dont want things interfearing with each other or crunching you fenders wirh the center link.
My hitches are modified slightly from factory, but are factory spec and will work on any Jacobsen/Ford except the 195. I widened the upper lifting arms so the links could be straight ans still clear the rear pto.

I am getting ready to build a 3 point for my open side 165.  Do you have any measurements on the lift link from the rockshaft to the underside?  Thanks!

That length can be made custom to what ever you want for max hitch height .Just don't make it too short or youwill surely crunch yyourrear fender pan with the center link.
