It stopped raining, so I got a couple shots of the deck for your viewing pleasure.

From what I can make out, the last 4 numbers in the model are 3145. Haven't a clue what is before that! Looks to measure a 48" cut?

Kenny, in the rear pic on page 1, you have a threaded rod just under fender pan, above the hydro. They used a proprietary 3 point set up on these. They had a tube for the top link. The two tabs each side of the hitch were the bottom attachment points. Here is a sleeve hitch on EBay:

I can build one cheaper than that! Just need some dimensions!

Took the 416S out for a tour of the property. Think I need new belts as it had a hard time pulling hills. The belt #'s are 2029348 & 2029350. Can someone give me a size for them?

I think I'm going to pull this engine, tires, & wheels and scarp the rest as I do not understand this thing at all!

I often don't understand my wife at all but that's hardly a reason to scrap her... ;-)

I can't be of help being it's shuttle shift.  I'm only familiar with the Vickers hydro model.  I do know the shuttle system is finicky, but when finally dialed in many owners love them...some still hate them.  Phil loves his shuttle!

Daniel, it won't pull itself up a small hill and makes a godawful racket doing it. The drive belt looks like a 3/8" belt, but could be worn that much. It's only about 1/4" tall too.

After a good nights sleep for a change, I am in better spirits. Plus finding the above thread helps me see how far out of adjustment this thing is, The drive belt is supposed to be a 1/2" X 53" belt, so this one is well past replacing. Printed out the adjustment procedure for the shuttle and have looked the mechanism over. It is way out of adjustment. I'll get a new drive belt today and start putting things back like they should be. Hopefully that makes it pull better. Does great on flat ground! Runs real smooth to. Need to get a Cub muffler for it real soon to quiet things down.
